OUR HISTORY

The heritage of Coal Creek Law has included many distinguished attorneys over the years. The firm remains focused on exemplifying the integrity, honor and abilities of those fine individuals who made their mark in Wyoming history. In addition to being individuals known for their integrity, honor and abilities, six former firm attorneys served as Wyoming Attorneys General or U.S. Attorney for the District of Wyoming, and as Wyoming Supreme Court Justices. The firm was established circa 1930 by C.R. Ellery who associated himself with Norman B. Gray and J.J. Hickey and together they set the standards for dedication and effective representation that remain the cornerstones of the firm today.
